The wood of the real walnut, also called walnut wood, is one of the finest types of wood in the world. But unlike mahogany or teak, walnut trees are also widespread in Europe. Walnuts impress with their very special, dark appearance and pleasant feel. A distinction is made between European and American walnut, with the American variety being slightly darker. You can easily wipe with a damp clothSolid wood absorbs moisture, but always releases it again. By oiling it occasionally, the wood retains its distinctive and great look. You can buy the right oil in our shop. We recommend food-safe biological Linseed oil varnish.

Each of our handmade products goes through numerous steps, from selecting the wood, measuring, cutting, planing and  multiple loops (first coarse, then finer) and the final oiling with organic Linseed oil varnishThis ensures pleasantly smooth surfaces that not only feel great, but also protect the wood from penetrating moisture protect.
