The wood of the real walnut, also called walnut wood, is one of the finest types of wood in the world. But unlike mahogany or teak, walnut trees are also widespread in Europe. Walnuts impress with their very special, dark appearance and pleasant feel. A distinction is made between European and American walnut, with the American variety being slightly darker.
