OLI-NATURA Worktop Oil,

organic + food-safe worktop oil, 0.5 litres, colourless

The solvent-free Worktop Oil from OLI-NATURA combines linseed and tung oil in a perfect ratio. It is particularly suitable for the basic treatment and care of heavily used solid wood surfaces. In particular, wooden surfaces with frequent contact with water in the kitchen and bathroom, such as kitchen worktops, furniture and dining tables or washstands.

Thanks to the high tung oil content, it has a strong water-repellent effect, but keeps the wood surface permeable to vapour diffusion. The wood can breathe and absorb some of the humidity in the room. The oiled wood appears refreshed and deepened in color. After drying, the Worktop Oil appears matt and does not tend to shine, which underlines the naturalness of the wood surface.

OLI-NATURA Worktop-Oil is 100% solvent-free and food-safe. The oil can be used as a 1-component oil or as a 2-component oil. The appropriate Hardener is available in our Wood-Favorite-diy Shop.

Product Details

processing:

  1. The wood must be dry, clean and free of grease.
  2. Stir the oil well.
  3. Oil with beige colored pad Massage in by hand or with an orbital sander until the surface is evenly wetted. Re-oil any dry areas.
  4. Avoid excess or remove after 30 minutes. The surface should appear evenly matt and feel dry.
  5. After sufficient drying of 16-24 hours ⏱, further applications can be made if required

Rags soaked in oil can spontaneously ignite due to heat build-up. Therefore, clean them immediately after use or rinse them under water.
