Reddish, robust, rustic.
The heartwood of the larch is characterized by its reddish-brown color, which can be more or less intense and darkens to brownish. The dark annual rings in the larch wood form a contrasting structure. Larch wood is one of the harder and heavier conifers, is robust and weather-resistant and is the traditional alpine wood par excellence. This means that it naturally has its own rustic flair.
